So once a year, the best street food vendors from New York City, as nominated by the people, congregate for a day of feasting, imbibing, and general foodie merriment. The festival takes place on the beautiful Governors Island, which is just a 5 minute, complimentary ferry ride off the southern tip of Manhattan. Food trucks, carts, and street vendors set up in an open field and represent nearly every corner of the globe. This was the biggest Vendy Awards yet, and there were over 20 vendor's on site. Check out the pictures of almost everything we ate (and we ate almost everything) after the jump.
